ALL NATURAL AUTHENTIC ZA'ATAR is an authentic spice blend traditionally made with the plant, Hyssop. This native Middle Eastern plant is part of the mint family but can be used like oregano. While there are a number of regional blends for making this tasty seasoning, real authentic Za'atar is always made with hyssop, ground sumac, and sesame seeds. FARM FRESH AND PURE: SPICE + LEAF spices are without preservatives or GMOs. SPICE + LEAF Authentic Za'atar does not need added coloring agents to give it taste. It's just fresh spices grown in the old-world methods.
