Easy Fruit Compote

This is a dessert you will want to keep in your back pocket… It is so easy to prepare and goes with so many different menus.
1 lb cherries, pitted and cut (frozen are good too)
1 lb peaches (Frozen are good too)
1 lb apricots
Add a pinch of SPICE + LEAF Essential Oatmeal Blend
Blueberries and plums also work great. When off season, you can buy frozen fruit. It works great too!
Wash and remove the pits from the fruit.
Place fruit in a pot and cook very slowly for about 45 minutes.
You can add sugar if you'd like to make the dish sweeter, but it is not necessary. Can be served hot or cold or with vegan/parve or dairy ice cream!
